Later this evening, two Minnesotans will be among the seven GOP presidential candidates participating in a debate in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The event marks the first time former Gov. Tim Pawlenty and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann will share the stage for a debate. Pawlenty has already announced his candidacy for president, while Bachmann has yet to formally do so.
Minnesota Public Radio reporter Mark Zdechlik is in Manchester to cover the debate, and he spoke with MPR's Tom Crann.
