Criminal charges have been dismissed against a Minneapolis city employee who allegedly used driver's license information inappropriately.
The Star Tribune reports that prosecutors cited problems with the state law getting in the way of prosecuting the case.
That follows the high-profile case of a former DNR employee, who now faces charges for accessing the data for hundreds of drivers. Last week a state auditor's report found inappropriate access to driver's license data was widespread in law enforcement.
