Committees in both the Minnesota Senate and House are expected to take up legislation legalizing same-sex marriage tomorrow. But so far, lawmakers are split mostly across party lines, with most Democrats supporting and most Republicans opposing.
One exception is Republican Sen. Branden Petersen of Andover. He's signed on as a co-author of the bill. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with him about his position on the issue.
