You can probably understand why Nathan Steffel didn't want to remember his daughter like this. But he didn't have much choice.
"Since she was in the hospital her whole life we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes," he wrote this week on Reddit. His daughter died in a Cincinnati children's hospital while awaiting a liver transplant.

Steffel would rather have a picture of Sophia without the tubes but there was one problem: He doesn't know how to use Photoshop very well.
No problem. The world, contrary to reports, is overflowing with decency.



"All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received was a lot of love and support from a bunch of strangers," Steffel said.
