A few months ago, a woman -- identified as 28-year-old Lindsey -- posted videos of downtown Minneapolis showing the number of catcalls she receives merely by walking on the street.
Comments on that post suggested she was responsible because she might have said something or, perhaps, she dressed in such a pleasing way that men had no choice but to stop her and assault her sensibilities.
It's not any of those things, a woman in New York has proven.
In a video released today, a woman walks around New York City for 10 hours, wearing jeans and a crew neck T-shirt. She does nothing to call attention to herself. But she gets the catcalls anyway.
