A day after the Clydesdales became second-bananas to zombies, the telephone white pages are history in Minnesota.
The Star Tribune says the Public Utilities Commission has unanimously voted to relieve CenturyLink, the state's largest phone provider, of the obligation to dump telephone directories on the stoop. They were required to distribute them under state law.
They'll still be required to give customers a telephone directory if they ask for one, which brings up the obvious and unanswered question: Who on earth still requests one?
