Every year around this time I ask the same question (See, "When it comes to welcoming spring, we stink"): Why can't we come up with a way to celebrate the end of the dark months along the lines of Holi, when Hindus greet the turn of winter into spring with a splash of color.

If you want to start the tradition, today is your day. It occurs on the day of the March full moon.
