I don't really have much reason to post this video other than to point out how utterly brown things are in Minnesota, and, apparently, how dry.
On a beautiful day on Saturday, we flew out to Olivia, noting white only on Buck Hill, ice only on Prior Lake, and no hint at all that we'll be hearing those "farmers say it's too wet to work in the fields" stories that we usually hear in April and May.
For you aviation enthusiasts, we left South St. Paul, southwest to the Lakeville area, then over Burnsville, Hector and into Olivia.
