If you've followed the NCAA men's basketball tournament, you probably know that Nigel Hayes of the University of Wisconsin has endeared himself to the nation because of his astonishment that a stenographer was so good at her job, which is transcribing interviews.
So at a news conference a week or so ago, he mixed in the words "cattywampus, onomatopoeia, antidisestablishmentarianism, soliloquy, quandary, zephyr, xylophone."
She spelled them all right in the transcript.

So the campus bookstore ordered this shirt to sell.
Cute, eh?
Yahoo Sports reports the T-shirt has been pulled because of fears it violated the NCAA's "amateur" policy, even though the bookstore is not run by the University of Wisconsin.
But that's not the real story, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
It was inappropriate for a third party vendor to profit off a student athlete, the paper said, without noting the irony that the NCAA and its universities make tons of money off its student athletes..
Hayes was bummed he never got a shirt.
So was the stenographer.
