Last night's Stephen Colbert interview with Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz made clear that he's the true successor to Daily Show host Jon Stewart when it comes to asking tough questions of guests, and when's the last time that's happened on late-night network TV?
Colbert was the perfect example of an interviewer who does his homework. But, if you watch the entire interview below, his contribution to the public discourse might be his insistence that people show a little respect for those with whom they disagree.
