The House Select Committee on Benghazi has opened its hearing today with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testifying for the first time.
Chair Trey Gowdy opened with a blistering attack on Clinton and Democrats. Ranking Democrat Elija Cummings charged Gowdy and Republicans are holding the hearings only because Clinton is running for president.
In her opening statement, Secretary Clinton focused on Chris Stevens, the diplomat killed in the 2012 attack.
Little will be settled today, but it should provide plenty of rhetorical entertainment and/or interest.
