As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the new Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee episode dropped last night, with Jerry Seinfeld taking Barack Obama for a spin around the White House grounds.
In this episode, Seinfeld is driving a '63 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe, a fact which several people online have debunked as any kind of decent car.
Presumably, these are the same people in the episode's comments sections who can't allow themselves a moment's laughter and have migrated the same arguments that have been going on for eight years to a comic episode.
Boring.
What happened to you, America? Seinfeld fairly nails it when he notes that when the '63 Stingray came out, America did things without having a reason to do it and a knowledge how.
That was back in the day when it could also have an occasional chuckle.
After all, we're having a good laugh at those of you who prefer your Toyota over a 'vette.
