Bernie Sanders' appearance on Saturday Night Live was the sort of "instant classic" that puts it into SNL history along with Bass O Matic.

First there was the Bern Your Enthusiasm, a parody of guest host Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm...

That was pre-taped, but then came Sanders' live cameo in which "women and children first" on a sinking ship hardly seemed fair to the masses.
