This was one of the more charming moments of the 2015 sports year. After more than a year of battling leukemia, NBA basketball sideline announcer Craig Sager was back on the court, his leukemia was in remission.
Sager's interviews with San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich are legendary, but Pop marked the occasion appropriately.
Tonight, however, Sager announces on an HBO documentary that the leukemia is back.
"I haven't won the battle. It's not over yet. But I haven't lost it, either. There have been some victories and some setbacks, but I still have to fight it. A lot of work to do," he said.
