By now, you've probably heard the story of the 11-year-old boy who stole a cement truck in Dodge Center over the weekend and went on a joyride. Apparently, the driver had left his keys in the truck.
The reaction of the residents of the community is notable. Word can travel quickly in a smallish town. And it's not every day that an 11-year takes a cement truck for a ride.... driving it back....
And forth...
And back again...
The Rochester Post Bulletin has Dodge County Sheriff audio of the entire half-hour chase.
The kid is in juvie in Rochester now awaiting formal charges in Dodge County. But what do you do with an 11-year-old cement-truck thief?
