The Daily Racing Form reports today that Angela Hermann has been hired by California's Golden Gate Fields.
She started working as an usher at Canterbury Park when she was 17 and most recently has been a substitute announcer and analyst.

In 2013, she became the first woman in North America to call every race on the card when she took over the duties for a day at Canterbury.
