This week's cover of The New Yorker is a real looker, coming as it does in the season of hope for the Class of 2016:
At this time last year, the Economic Policy Institute was predicting a grim future for the Class of 2015, which joined six other classes graduating into the aftermath of the Great Recession.
Prospects for this year's class are a bit brighter, the Institute says.
One in eight college graduates is "underemployed," it says. And for most young graduates, wages are no higher than they were for the grads in 2000.
