All of the road rage stereotypes are part of the latest video from bicyclist Ward Rubrecht, who regularly films his rides and documents the abuse that cyclists take.
In this case, it happened at Selby Avenue and Hamline Avenue in St. Paul and involved -- you know this part -- a man, a pick-up truck, a baseball hat worn backwards, and an inability to go three words without an "F bomb". Classic.
City Pages has Rubrecht's story.
The cyclist-driver gulf may never be bridged, although in his latest video, Rubrecht finds an apparently repentant and rational driver when he "educates" one about the distance drivers are required to give those on bicycles.
It was a woman. In a car.
