Jerilynn Huber didn't have a prayer of succeeding in her protest, but at least she stood for something, or climbed for something.
Utility crews in Dallas were trimming trees around power lines and hers was one that needed a snip or two.
She would have none of it so she showed the young 'uns how protest works. She climbed her tree.
In the end, the utility company won.
“They filed a temporary restraining order on me,” Huber said. “They didn’t want me in the tree anymore because that would keep them from trimming it. When did we lose our rights as property owners?”
She's 67.
