A dress code rebellion hit Ordean East Middle School on Monday.
The Duluth News Tribune reports that someone posted a Snapchat message encouraging people to violate the school's dress code. The crackdown targeted mostly girls whose shorts or dresses didn't reach mid-thigh or whose bra straps were exposed.
"To code (that many) kids and get them all upset when they are taking finals and exams, wearing clothes that they've worn before on a day in Duluth when it's over 60 degrees? To me we need to change the policy," parent Stacey Dimberio told the paper.
"The dress code topic comes up every spring when it gets nice out," the school's assistant principal said.
