Climate One series host Greg Dalton interviews two members of Congress about their proposals to address climate change.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Ed Markey of Massachusetts is co-sponsor of "The Green New Deal," and Republican U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida is sponsoring a plan called "The Green Real Deal," which is a market-based alternative.

Sen. Markey is interviewed first, followed by Rep. Gaetz. Afterward, Miranda Hill, a reporter for The Hill, offers her analysis of the possible political fate of the two proposals.

Climate One is a program of the Commonwealth Club of California.
