“It was the most magical, beautiful, sick place I've ever been.” That’s how one sexual abuse survivor describes her time at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis. MPR News correspondent Marriane Combs has published an extensive investigation of sexual abuse at the theater during the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s. Can the Twins trample the Yankees? Trampled by Turtles will try not trampling the National Anthem as they perform to warm up the crowd at Target Field on Monday. “It’s not an easy song to sing,” Trampled by Turtles frontman Dave Simonett told The Current, “and I’m not really a singer. It’s got a big range, bigger than my range, but I’ll just do the best I can.” So will the Twins, whose season will be over if the don’t beat the Yankees in game three of their best-of-five series.

Minneapolis’ police union is backing Trump. The group is preparing to sell pro-Trump shirts, as the Star Tribune reports, as union head Lt. Bob Kroll continues to fight the city’s policy prohibiting uniformed officers from appearing with the president.

A Kenyan and Missourian have won the Twin Cities Marathon. Dominic Ondoro and Julia Kohnen won the men's and women's contests, finishing within 2 hours, 12 minutes, 23 seconds and 2:31:29, respectively. Over 8,000 runners registered to run the marathon, and 6,735 people finished.

Another whistleblower has entered the impeachment fray. The person could provide information that undermines the accounts of President Trump and his allies while offering new leads for the impeachment investigation. Here’s what’s next in the probe, via the AP.
