Minn. ICU nurse on coronavirus: ‘The need for PPE is so paramount’

A total of 12 people have died in Minnesota from COVID-19 as of Tuesday, and 26 people remain hospitalized in intensive care.

Those numbers are expected to climb dramatically in the coming weeks, and hospitals across the state are scrambling to expand capacity. For a perspective from the front lines, MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with Mary Turner, an ICU nurse at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale and president of the Minnesota Nurses Association.
