MN school superintendent on planning for this fall: ‘It’s just a lot of things to worry about’
Even as President Donald Trump urges schools nationwide to reopen, it’s still not clear what school will look like for Minnesota’s K-12 students this fall. The state is expected to announce its plan for public schools by the week of July 27. Until then, districts are being asked to plan for three possible scenarios: in-person learning, distance learning or a combination of the two.
MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with Beth Giese to learn more about what that planning looks like. Giese is the superintendent of St. Francis Area Schools, which serves a little under 5,000 students in Anoka and Isanti counties.
