Some parts of Minnesota are unusually dry for July

Portions of the state that typically see the most rain have been unusually dry this month, according to retired University of Minnesota meteorologist and climatologist Mark Seeley.

In contrast, climate stations in historically drier parts of the state are reporting more rainfall than average for the month.
