Latest ‘Lost Twin Cities’ documentary looks back at the Metrodome, wrestling and more

When you create a successful franchise, you want to make sure it keeps going — and at Twin Cities PBS, history is popular. Some of the station’s most-watched documentaries over the years have been the locally-produced “Lost Twin Cities” series, which looks at Minneapolis and St. Paul history that has been lost to time.

The latest installment airs at 8 p.m. Sunday on Twin Cities PBS. “Lost Twin Cities 5” includes a look back at the Metrodome, Minneapolis Central High School, drive-in movies, the American Wrestling Association and the canopy of elm trees that used to line the streets of Minneapolis neighborhoods.

MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with filmmaker and executive producer Dan Bergin about the project.
