View from Duluth: Ursa Minor Brewing on the challenges ahead

The transition into fall has many restaurant and bar owners in Minnesota worried. Cold weather will mean an end to patio dining, and scraping by on even a meager income this winter will be difficult.

Back in April, MPR News host Cathy Wurzer checked in with Ursa Minor Brewing, a relatively new brewing company in Duluth, Minn. At the time, CEO Ben Hugus was scrambling to reinvent his business.

It's been a little over four months since then, but so much has changed. And with the first freezing temperatures overnight this week in Duluth, Wurzer spoke with Hugus again for an update.
