Newly released video sheds light on Derek Chauvin's behavior on the force
The trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, one of the four former officers charged in the killing of George Floyd, is scheduled to begin next month.
This week, the Star Tribune published bystander video showing three of those four officers – including Chauvin — forcefully detaining a man who they later released. The incident took place last May, a few weeks before Floyd was killed.
