We will still have lingering clouds and some scattered lighter showers, especially across southern Minnesota Tuesday. Northern Minnesota will see more sun and slightly warmer temperatures.
Clouds, few showers linger Tuesday
Tuesday will see lingering clouds, especially across southern Minnesota though we should see some peeks of sun. There will be more sun in northern Minnesota. Look for some lingering showers still as well south.
Highs will be mainly in the 60s though northwest Minnesota could see some low 70s with more sunshine there.
Brighter, warmer by week’s end
We will still see some lingering patches of clouds Wednesday and even Thursday as our upper level low is slow to exit the region. By Friday skies should be sunnier and we’ll see a big warm up in temperatures. Highs could be near 80 or warmer Friday into early next week. Those readings would be 10 to 15 degrees above normal again.
