Anomalous warmth continues Monday and Tuesday; cooler late week
Temperatures will average 15 to 20 degrees above normal

After record warmth over the weekend, the well-above-normal temperatures continue Monday and Tuesday. A cold front will touch off storms Tuesday night with much cooler air behind it.
Heat continues for a couple more days
After record-setting heat over the weekend, the anomalous warmth continues. Highs Monday will be back into the 80s statewide, even reaching the upper 80s again in parts of southern Minnesota with mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday will also be very warm with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the 80s south and 70s north. A cold front will touch off showers and thunder late in the day in the west that will then move east into the overnight Tuesday night.

It’ll be cooler Wednesday with highs mainly in the 60s and 50s. It’ll be even cooler by Friday.
