Minnesota has another James Beard award winner in its food scene.
Bûcheron in south Minneapolis was crowned the best new restaurant in the country Monday night in Chicago.

The restaurant’s name means lumberjack in French and the restaurant won critics over with its take on French bistro cuisine — with a Minnesota flair.
Jeanie Janas Ritter, co-owner of Bûcheron, shared more about what the win means for her and her team on this week’s Appetites.
