The Minnesota Lynx closed out their regular season Thursday night with a statement: beating the Golden State Valkyries 72-53.
Now, it’s onto the playoffs for the No. 1 ranked team in the WNBA where they’ll meet the Valkyries again in the first round. Their first matchup is set for Sunday.
Terry Horstman, who writes about the Lynx for the Next, said the prospects look good for the team to win it all this year — after a “heartbreaking end” last year.
“They’re calling it a revenge tour and I won’t be surprised to see if they are the team standing at the end,” he said.
