The Anoka-Hennepin school board met Monday amid an ongoing stalemate over Minnesota’s new statewide social studies curriculum.
The debate has also opened up a larger fight over the district’s Respectful Learning Environment policy, which was adopted after a federal lawsuit more than a decade ago.
MPR News host Emily Bright spoke with Kyrstin Schuette, executive director of the School Board Integrity Project, about the ongoing board debate in Anoka-Hennepin, the state’s largest school district.
