Saturday marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Terry Brisk, who was shot and killed while deer hunting in Morrison County.

Brisk, 41, was hunting on his family’s property northeast of Little Falls on Nov. 7, 2016, when he was fatally shot with his own rifle.
Investigators say evidence showed the suspect was in close proximity to Brisk when he was killed, and the two likely interacted before the shooting. The rifle, which was initially reported missing after the shooting, was found the following year.
Authorities have investigated numerous leads over the past decade, but have not arrested any suspects.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office said a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Brisk’s death has been raised to $50,000.
Virgil and Babe Brisk, Terry’s parents, issued a statement saying their family has “lived with the heartbreak of not knowing the truth about what happened to him.” They asked anyone with answers to come forward.
“We cannot bring him back, but someone out there has the power to help bring our family some peace,” they stated. “We are asking you, from one human being to another, please do the right thing. Ten years is long enough.”
