Gas prices in Minnesota continued to climb on Thursday amid the ongoing military conflict in the Middle East — though the pace of that increase has slowed from earlier in the week.
Gas prices across Minnesota were averaging about $3 a gallon on Tuesday — a jump of nearly 17 cents a gallon since Monday, according to AAA. That’s amid the uncertainty caused by the widening military conflict in the Middle East.
The high prices came as U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran and retaliatory strikes against Israel and U.S. military installations around the Gulf sent disruptions through the global energy supply chain.
