Significant areas of wind-driven rain will continue over southern and central Minnesota through the day on Friday and into Friday night. Saturday will be drier. Sunday will be brighter with at least some sunshine and temperatures closer to normal for mid-October.
Widespread rain will soak southern and central Minnesota, starting in the southwest Thursday morning and tracking northeast. Easterly winds will become blustery.
Rain will spread out of Iowa and northward across Minnesota during the day Thursday and into Thursday night. Widespread amounts in excess of an inch are likely. Easterly winds could gust over 40 mph.
