Thunderstorms at times Sunday and Sunday night
Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see periods of rain and thunderstorms Sunday and Sunday night. Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible.
Saturday was definitely the nicer day of the weekend. Our Sunday will feature periods of rain with some embedded thunderstorms.

Severe thunderstorm watch until 1 a.m. includes part of Twin Cities
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 1 a.m. Saturday for east-central Minnesota, including roughly the northeast half of the Twin Cities metro area. Tennis ball-sized hail has been reported in Sauk Rapids, Minn.
Dew points will ramp up Friday afternoon, and high temperatures will reach the upper 80s. Parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin could see some strong to severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.
