Warmer Friday with spotty showers, thunder developing
A clipper system and cool front will be moving across the state Friday, creating the chance for spotty showers and thunder this afternoon. Saturday will be dry and Sunday will be very warm. 
Frosty Friday morning to 80 degrees on Mother’s Day
A frosty night across northeast Minnesota. Temperatures could reach 80 degrees in the Twin Cities on Sunday.
Cooler Thursday with more showers possible Friday. Warm weekend ahead
Most of the state will be slightly cooler Thursday. Friday brings another chance of spotty showers. The weekend is looking rather warm with highs near 80 on Sunday for some.  
Brief funnel clouds? Scattered thunderstorms into Tuesday evening
A few thunderstorms will move northeast through Tuesday evening. There’s just enough rotation in the lower atmosphere that a few cells could produce brief small funnel clouds, but most would be weak and brief and not touch down.
Unsettled Tuesday and windy. Another chance of showers south Wednesday
Showers will lift north Tuesday morning with some pop-up showers or thunderstorms possible Tuesday afternoon and evening in central Minnesota. Wednesday brings another chance for rain to southern Minnesota.
