Bryan Nygard, 34, of Cyrus, Minn., pulled a gun on officers trying to arrest him for suspected domestic violence. The gunfire killed Pope County deputy Josh Owen. The return fire killed Nygard, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Wednesday.
