Minnesota lawmaker shootings

Minnesota Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman, were fatally shot on June 14, 2025, in their Brooklyn Park home, and Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman, were wounded at their Champlin residence in a series of politically motivated attacks allegedly carried out by Vance Boelter.
