Minnesota family of five killed in western Nebraska crash

Authorities have arrested the driver of a semitrailer that was involved in a fiery crash that killed a couple from Minneapolis and their three young children.

3 die in apparent drownings over weekend

A 7-year-old girl and 35-year-old woman were pulled from waters Sunday in Bloomington and Lake Minnetonka. Another woman died after she was found unresponsive Saturday at Long Lake in Orono.

200 people died on Minnesota roads so far in 2016

The deaths included 27 motorcyclists, compared with 37 at this time last year and 26 pedestrians, compared with 16 last year. Four bicyclists have also been killed this year in Minnesota.

Collapsed Minnetonka trench was dug by company with past violation
