Vikings trade Harvin to Seahawks
A person with knowledge of the deal tells The Associated Press that the Minnesota Vikings have agreed to trade Percy Harvin to Seattle for a package that includes the Seahawks' first-round draft pick in April.
A former winner of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, who was born in Minnesota, took the lead early Sunday and held onto it as he pressed forward along the Bering Sea coastline. Another musher was just 15 minutes behind.

What do a former runway model, a young man with cerebral palsy and a musher from Tennessee have in common? They're all part of the field this year competing in the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. Ten teams registered for the 373-mile marathon race, which runs from Duluth up the North Shore to the Gunflint Trail near the Canadian border and back. Thirty teams have registered for the mid-distance race.
