For towns along Line 3, pipeline workers brought welcome boom — while it lasted

Dave Sheley, owner of the Corner Store and Restaurant in Backus, Minn., stands behind the counter on Tuesday. Sheley says the Line 3 project brought a surge of business to his store and restaurant, especially in the early mornings when pipeline workers would fuel up before heading to the job site.
