Audio postcard: Wildflowers of fall

Looking out the window, it’s fair to say that trees are getting most of the fall color attention, now that leaves are finally hitting their peak across much of the state.
But as wildflower chasers Kelly Povo and Phyllis Root are here to tell us, we’d be missing out if we didn’t pay more attention to the ground, where there are still splashes of autumn color to be found.
They recently sent Morning Edition a postcard from the Oronoco Prairie Scientific and Natural Area in southeastern Minnesota, where the colors of fall are red, yellow and even blue.
