U students want Sviggum to quit regents over Morris remarks, 'insincere' apology

U student leaders on Wednesday called for University of Minnesota regent Steve Sviggum to resign for comments suggesting racial and ethnic diversity on the Morris campus was hurting marketing efforts. Prior to becoming part of the U, the Morris campus served as an agriculture school and an Indian boarding school.
