Good news for fans of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness: On Thursday, the U.S. Forest Service reopened nearly half of the area's entry points for overnight access.
That's a big update, because wildfires have shuttered the BWCA for more than two weeks, and outfitters in the region have been feeling that hit.
