We’re beginning our holiday weekend with a dense fog advisory. Clouds will stay with us today and some areas will see some rain later today and tonight.
We’ll have a foggy start on Saturday, then rain arrives later in the day and lingers into Sunday. Parts of western and northern Minnesota could see some snow Sunday into Monday. We have an update on your holiday weekend weather.
Much of Minnesota has morning fog Friday with areas of drizzle and a few scattered light showers. Record warmth will develop this weekend with rain and snow Sunday into Tuesday.
Thursday brings increasing clouds and more mild weather. Fog and drizzle will develop Thursday night into early Friday. Expect record temperatures Sunday and rain to develop. Some snow is possible northwest.
Clouds will increase Thursday ahead of a weak disturbance that could touch off a few sprinkles Friday. The main rain event is still Sunday into Tuesday with very mild temperatures continuing.
