Wednesday will be on the cool side of normal still with a mix of clouds and sun. We’ll be warmer by Friday but also back in the clouds with the chance of some showers.

Much of Minnesota woke up to the first snowfall of the season Tuesday morning. The Twin Cities metro area and much of the rest of Minnesota saw 1 to 3 inches of snow from late Monday into Tuesday.
Snow showers end with gusty winds in the wake of the overnight clipper system. Northwest winds will blow at 15 to 30 mph this morning. We should see warmer conditions by late week.

The first widespread snow event of the season is upon us. An inch or 2 of snow is likely overnight for most of Minnesota, with some spots getting more and the southwest getting little or none.
The week continues to be cold with a clipper system bringing snowfall Monday night. We’ll see a warming trend with temperatures close to normal by the end of the week.
