Becoming windy with spotty showers; thunder develops Wednesday afternoon
Wednesday will be cooler, less humid and windy in the wake of last night’s cool front. We’ll see lingering instability, however, with spotty afternoon showers and some thunder. 
Severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. includes far western Twin Cities
A line of storms with the potential for damaging winds greater than 60 mph and hail larger than 1 inch in diameter will sweep through from west to east Tuesday afternoon and evening and most likely move through the Twin Cities region between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Severe risk again Tuesday afternoon
The next storm wave will cross Minnesota from west to east Tuesday afternoon into early evening.
Decreasing clouds Monday. More storms on the way Tuesday
After a very wet Sunday night we’ll see decreasing clouds Monday. Isolated afternoon thunder is again possible, but more organized storms develop Tuesday. 
Drought-busting spring; summery weekend ahead
Our wet spring has virtually erased drought conditions in Minnesota — 98 percent of Minnesota is now drought-free.
More showers and thunder Friday. Storms likely again late Sunday
We’ll have scattered showers and thunder Friday with heavy rainfall potential for southern Minnesota. More storms are possible Sunday and some could be strong.
