Hot Tuesday with isolated storms; temps drop Wednesday
Southern Minnesota sees muggy dew points and near-record temperatures Tuesday. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 for some. Thunderstorms are possible late Tuesday afternoon into the evening. Wednesday will be much cooler.
A steamy Tuesday followed by much cooler air
Tuesday will be our last hot and muggy day of summer. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with sticky dew points. Temperatures drop nearly 20 degrees for highs Wednesday.
Longest summer on record for the Twin Cities?
The Twin Cities this year saw its longest recorded streak of 70-degree temperatures.
From hot to cool this week; highs set to drop into 50s, 60s
Highs will be in the 70s north, 80s south Monday and Tuesday followed by our first real, sustained cool weather. Highs will be in the 50s north and 60s south by mid to late week with chilly overnights.
Gorgeous Monday, hotter Tuesday then much cooler
Summerlike highs in the 70s and 80s for Monday and Tuesday will be followed by a cool blast of fall air. A few storms are possible in northern Minnesota Monday and farther south Monday night.
Warmer again Monday and Tuesday; Then sharply cooler
Summerlike temperatures return for Monday and Tuesday. Then a cold front cools the state for a few days.
Severe thunderstorm watch in northern Minnesota Saturday evening
Parts of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see scattered thunderstorms Saturday evening into the overnight hours of Saturday night. Severe weather is possible.
